I had the day off today, so I had lunch with my Mum. We tried going to the Kintaro's in Richmond, but as it turns out they are only open for dinner during the week. Lunch is strictly a weekend affair for them, so I will have to wait for another time to try them out. As a back up we fought the Richmond traffic and Canada Line construction and went to Hon's. It was what I expected. I had the beef tendon, won-tun and egg noodles and we split a place of pot stickers. The tendon at Hon's makes Kim Phung look really cheap. Hon's puts huge pieces in the soup. Very generous pieces of beefy gelatinous goodness. I should have ordered some greens to go with it though.
