I really have been eating a lot of Chinese food recently. Maybe it is just that I live in Vancouver and you really can't help but eat great Chinese food here. But when Ashley and Janie told me they were coming to town I thought dim sum was a natural. Janie took me for dim sum in Washington a couple of years ago and it was pretty good, but Vancouver I think may be the best place outside of Hong Kong to go. So off to Sun Sui Wah it was. And we had it all. Shrimp dumpling. Taro dumplings. These little mango and whipped cream filled crepes that Ashley couldn't get enough of. I love dining with them. They love to eat and will try almost anything once. It was a fantastic lunch that I really should go for more often.
someone posted on another blog that sun shui wah's old crew left since 9/2006, and since then, now no more dim sum carts and quality has gone bad.
Did you notice the change. How much is avg. dim sum nowadays?
I have not been there for many years.

The quality at Sun Sui Wah isn't quite what it used to be, but they can still hold its own and they've still got the carts.

You should really try "Red Star" on Granville... It's really much higher quality than sun sui wah
