We stayed at the Auberge Sainte-Antoine and brunch was included at their restaurant Panache. The brunch started with a little amuse, something that I'm not used to getting at a brunch, but was very welcome. It was a shot glass filled with a strawberry smoothie. And coffee. Very good coffee. Plus they left the pot. I very much appreciate brunch places that leave the pot at the table so I can keep filling my cup. It is a little thing, but I quite like it.
For my breakfast I had the french toast. It was like dessert for breakfast. Brioche with chocolate chips made into french toast. Intensely sweet with the maple syrup. A little overwhelming, but I quite loved it. It certainly isn't for everyone because it is so sweet, but if you love sweet things, this is it. Covered in fruit, it was a great breakfast. I can't recommend staying at the Sainte-Antoine enough if you have something to celebrate.
