    Ham and Sweet Potato Biscuits

    Sweet potato biscuit
After Savannah, we headed up the coast a little to a place owned by the fellow that married us. Right on the water on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay, it was a fantastic place to continue the decompression from the wedding. Billy and Fann left us well supplied for the two days we spent at their country house. What you can see in the picture are two sweet potato biscuits with ham. Sweet potato biscuits are apparently a popular item on the Eastern Shore. Very sweet, a hint of spice. They were pretty good. If you have a recipe or could recommend one of the many there are online, I'd love to hear about it.
