Redesigned

I've redesigned the site. I hope this is a prelude to writing on a regular basis again. I hope that in redesigning the site it I become a little more interested in keeping it up to date again. There was nothing wrong with the old site except that it was totally neglected and it has been more than a year since I posted anything new. But I think a redesign the the coming of September will get me back in the swing of it again. I think I need an outlet to write for that isn't writing financial news, so hopefully this is it. I'm hoping that maybe writing here might have my writing in my real life and think about it in new ways other than the straight inverted pyramid news stories that leave my desk on a near constant basis. So here it goes.

As for the picture. It's there because I just thought the post needed a picture. It is of three tacos from the Guernville Taco Truck located in the Safeway parking lot in Guernville, Calif. If you're there, you really have to try it. The roasted jalapeno pepper in the picture was dusted with just a little bit of salt and was both insanely good and insanely hot. It is not to be missed.
